PORTLAND, Ore. -- The Oregon Humane Society put up 29 popular small breed dogs and several exotic cats from a breeder in Southern Oregon for adoption Thursday.
The dog breeds included West Highland white terriers, miniature schnauzers, dachshunds, a French bulldog/Boston terrier mix, and more.
Most of the dogs were about four years old. The nine cats include three Abyssinians, one Bengal, and four ocicats.
OHS said the breeder voluntarily surrendered 84 dogs over the past year and was no longer business.
Each pet will be spayed or neutered and will be offered for adoption later this week.
